youtube.com — This was when Apple Computer was nearly bankrupt, and was about to crumble into ruins. Then Apple announced a partnership with Microsoft. You can hear the loud booing sounds coming from crowd throughout the keynote. Bill Gates is in the keynote via satellite. This was probably the toughest pill for Steve Jobs to swallow in his life.

That time was a rough one for Apple fans. Steve made a lot of business decisions that looked draconian, but in hindsight (always easier) were totally necessary and smart. They killed a lot of products including the Newton and the whole OS X transition scared a lot of people but look where Apple is today. In saving Apple with the iMac and the iPod, Jobs has earned the Apple user's trust, and therefore is making today's switch to Intel possible.

Whatever is it, I believe that MS will still want them to co-exist. http://www.outofbankruptcy.info
