repriisent.blogspot.com — This article puts into question the idiosyncrasies of fanboyism from the view of a near-victim of this phenomena. Alright, enough with the dramatics. On occasion, people will needlessly align themselves with a company, stick with them at all costs, and throw themselves forward to shield the verbal Q-tip arrows shot at said company. Does it help us?

I am not a fan of companies, I am a fan of quality. I have a Mac, because I cant stand Windows, but the Xbox 360 is amazing. Its on line network is great, and it has the games i like to play. PS2 fan's make sense because they had all the RPG's, and I enjoy my PS2. But all this PS3 fanboy stuff is stupid. How can you align yourself with a company that has said nothing but lies, and than charge outrages amounts for it, and all you can do is say to defend it is "your paying for the potential". PS3 fans are the worst, because they seem desperate. For example, I have yet to see these kind of sites for 360, or Wii...http://www.savetheps3.com/http://www.saveourps3.org/wordpress/?p=11http://boardsus.playstation.com/rss/message?board.id=ps3&message.id=1039329

Thanks for the comment! Though I disagree with stereotyping fans of certain products, I played around with the stereotypes as a joke in the article. I wouldn't say that "PS3 fans are the worst", but I think you meant that, in your opinion, that out of the super-duper-extreme fanboys of the three systems (all of which are bad), PS3 fans feel... the most zealously threatened? (Since it says "save" the PS3).While I'm off topic:If the PS3 needs saving, then the way to do it is offer PS3s that don't have the blu-ray disc drive and HDTV abilities, and offer it for a lower price than the Wii. But then what about the people who bought PS3s on day one... I don't know if that would seem unfair. In a sense, though, as a Wii fan, I am hoping for the potential of it in the sense of on line abilities. There's no on line multiplayer that I know of yet, but maybe I'll wait it out and see what it has to offer!
