I'm not a huge football (what it's called here) / soccer fan, but one thing that has always amazed me is how bad the officiating can be for a multi billion Euro sporting industry. It doesn't take a genius to know that if you call offside on that, the opposing team can just stand at midfield and there would NEVER be a legal corner kick! Did it meet the placing rule? Yes. Motion rule? Yes. It's legal. I don't even LIKE the sport, and I'm pissed off.
