networkworld.com — The suit by Verizon Wireless is to stop the movie company from continuing its robocall barrage -- 500,000 annoying calls so far -- in support of the upcoming film "The Velveteen Rabbit." You go, Verizon.

Not really. Verizon probably got so many complaints that it was either:1. Go the typical business route by ignoring customer complaints and risk tarnishing its brand image through this aloof approach or 2. At least pretend to care by filing a lawsuit and looking like a company that looks out for its customers. http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,501404,00.htmlIt's that bad.

Contacted me on my emergency cell phone at 7:12 AM.Since this phone only rings for emergencies, and it was relatively early in the AM, I was *very* angry to find out it was a telemarketing call.Filed a complaint with the FCC at http://esupport.fcc.govFiled a complaint with the FTC at http://ftccomplaintassistant.govFiled a complaint with Global Crossing by email at security@globalcrossing.netFiled a complaint with New Mexico BBB at http://newmexicoandsouthwestcolorado.bbb.orgFiled a complaint with New Mexico Attorney General by calling 1-800-678-1508Filed a complaint with my own state's attorney general.(Feature Films did this in 2006 and was fined $70,000 by the Missouri Attorney General.)Company Contact Info:Kids First112 W San Francisco St Ste 304ASanta Fe, NM 87501505.989.8076

Haha. Verizon sold my work email to a huge spam network. The only proof I have is I filled out the email address form where you can get a work discount and now I get 12 - 15 spam messages a day. I have never given anyone my work email. This is the only place I've ever put it out there online and now I get spam...and least their consistent.

Don't forget to file a complaint with @ http://www.donotcall.gov if you're on the DONOTCALL list. Don't know if it does a darn thing since I've been filing complaints on robocalls there for years now but it's another place to complain.
