Not that simple. If the value of dollar goes down, our good and services become cheaper to others, but out imports like oil get to be more expensive, which in turn would cause inflation across board. If inflation goes up, then our services get to be more expensive, thereby undoing some of the gains we got from a lower value of the dollar. So in the end all that's happening is we have is a cheaper dollar.
Low dollar is good for exports and the economy, US has a higher living standard than just about any other developed country. Democrats' high taxes/low economic freedom policy would make US poorer.
I dont believe that just yet seeing as I work in a nike outlet store in Michigan & I see so many Canadians coming here to shop. If they had money worth more than ours why are they here buget shopping? No offense to anyone but they can get more for less.
