givemeliberty.org— We are making good use of the powerful concept of en masse activist resistance used in the movie, ?V for Vendetta.?

@ obezyanaThe day people get arrested for the costumes they wear is the day we know we are living in a police state. Actually, the day the Supreme Court said police could demand your ID without probable cause to believe you had committed a crime was the day we knew we lived in a police state.
This is a beautiful way to express their point, though I do think that they should leave the plastic sai out of the costume. There's one hell of a message in what they're doing. I wish that I lived in the same area so that I could take part in it.Good digg submission. :)~Mysk
What would you suggest that has more meaning in the US? A mask is crucial in getting the message across that Americans now feel the need to hide their identities to protest their government, which almost everyone knows but most don't want to admit. If you can think of another mask that has the same "defiance of tyranny" meaning as the V mask and would be as recognizable, I would certainly like to hear about it. I can't think of any.
@ lotuseaterWOW!! You mean those are guys? In Costumes? AMAZING!!The idea behind it is what counts, whether you like it or think its cool isnt what protests are about It couldnt be a popular blockbuster unless alot of people enjoyed it thats kind of what makes something popular and a blockbuster, not the other way around
@sapo196"You know why, because no one cares about the comic book. This is a new V people are representing. Just because you are a comic book loyalist really means nothing."I am not really a "loyalist" to the comic book, I am just irritated when a good story is hijacked by hollywood to futher their political ideas by trying to slopply associate the story with current events to bring in gullible fools like you.

If you researched the organization, it's certainly not a tree-hugging hippie kind of movement...

Luckily, we have the legislative and judicial branches to set limits to executive power. Bwahahaha! I kill myself sometimes with my sardonic humor.

Don't digg the parent down. The movie he links to is explains the "No Answers, No Taxes" banner the V's are holding.
