Where is my USA that stood for something noble and good? What happened to the USA that worked for the benefit of the people and not a small fraction of society?Where is my USA that took in the tired, hungry and poor?Looks like that USA is only in history books.
I know how the caller feels. I've been in the military 15 years and have always planned to retire, but now I'm leaving. It's a difficult thing to choose to leave when you're only 5 years from a pension, but the situation has become too difficult. My family is too important. I need to leave.
"...you can get out after your enlistment/commitment. That is what I would recommend for this family."That would be wonderful if they allowed people to do that, wouldn't it? Except they are not allowing people to quit. They're all under Stop-Loss. This "surge" isn't a fresh crop of new recruits that suddenly appeared out of nowhere. It's people coming up for retirement or folks on their third tour of duty.
WTF was he writing as she was talking? We are in a profound mess if men like Kristol have had the president's and vice-president's ear for the last 6 years or more. What is their hidden agenda?
"Kristol is scum, filthy, filthy scum."Only if you consider someone willing to sacrifice thousands of white, black, and brown American lives in order to establish Israeli hegemony in the Middle East a filthy, filthy scum. :)The Israeli Fifth Column got their "new Pearl Harbor" and their US invasion of the Middle East. Now they're criticizing the government because things didn't go smoothly. In retrospect, their notion that the military could invade Iraq, Iran, and Syria, kill a bunch of people, and set up puppet democracies that take leadership from Israel seems a bit naive.

If the Neocons want to act like enemies of the American public, then I think they should be treated as enemies.Enemy - One who opposes.
