thinkprogress.org — On Monday, Rush Limbaugh accused actor Michael J. Fox of faking symptoms of Parkinson’s disease in advertisements supporting stem cell research. Limbaugh said Fox was “exaggerating the effects of the disease. He’s moving all around and shaking and it’s purely an act." Yesterday in Illinois, Fox responded to Limbaugh’s smear. Watch it:

Honestly, he shouldn't even have dignified it with a response. Limbaugh's kind of idiocy speaks for itself, no response required.

People still listen to Limbaugh?

"Right, it's "bad science," but it might "produce results" as you say. Hmm... sounds contradictory. way to respond to something I DIDN'T say... I said nothing about funding. I was refering to whether, when asked in interviews, right wing leaders who said they were against stem cell research 'because it destroys embryos' were still against the new method. They still said yes.

@mbthompson,Now you're just splitting hairs which makes you look desperate. You and I both know what the implication of your comment is and you and I both know that's ridiculous. Instead, you should retort with namecalling. That would look less desperate and make it more obvious that you're incapable of rational discussion.Oh, it appears you beat me to that suggestion. Bravo.
