thinkprogress.org — This morning, former White House political director Sara Taylor appeared before the Senate Judiciary Committee to testify about her involvement in the U.S. attorneys scandal. Taylor was blocked from speaking about White House deliberations over the firing, Yet even under these restrictions, Taylor avoided answering questions with "I don't recall."

Good video. I missed the actual airing on CSpan3. They put these things on CSpan3 for some reason. Most people don't get that one. If these people keep "not recalling" on the record it leaves only one possibility. The decisions were made by people higher up. Maybe they are going to pin this all on Miers and that's why she has been kept out of the hearing. Either way, the WH saw something they didn't like in Taylor's testimony and have forced Miers to not even appear.

Even if you take their words at face value, they are clearly too senile to be public servants and should be held in no confidence. The truth only gets worse from there.

I wish they would call these f**kers out."I don't recall.""And why is that? Have you been doing drugs or something that tampers with your memory? Perhaps we should send you in for a psychiatric evaluation."
