thinkprogress.org — Fox News and other conservative outlets have been playing up a report that Barack Obama attended an Islamic madrassa school in Indonesia as a boy. CNN sent a correspondent to the school and found the claims were completely untrue.

"Love how CNN's sources must be right."Yeah, because videotape of the actual school is so biased, right?

We're going to strip the bark of the bastard and make him run with Osama Bin Laden!

The bottom line makes this madrassa story stupid: Obama is woefully unqualified to be President. Senators make horrible Presidents and this clown has only been a Senator for 2 years. WRT this thread, you hard-core lefties seem to ignore that it was Queen Hillary's people who dug this little gem up. Do not try to blame it on Fox News, this is another example of how nasty that woman is.

"Middle of the Road Fox News"? Are you on crack? That's retarded.

So fox news has no accountability for airing the story? Since when does Fox answer to the Clintons?

The other day, I read one of the linked articles on another story that said this had been debunked. While the article said the claims that he had been exposed to radical teachings were untrue, it based this on the claims being "problematic" and "unverifiable". Now, I like Obama too, but "problematic" and "unverifiable" are hardly debunking. I also don't think visiting the school is going to do a whole lot as far as getting information if they HAD been teaching with a radical slant. I mean, does anyone think they would just admit it? Unfortunately, I have learned that any politician will twist truth to appeal to the masses. That, sadly, means I don't trust Obama either. I hope that he can come up with something that will show these assh**es are lying. I already suspect that this holds no water, but I want proof, not just his autobiography. Please Obama, give me something more, if at all possible.

I think that if he can show, without a doubt that his studies did NOT include radical teachings, most people will stick with him. I am weary that the different skin color will be an issue with a lot of people, though. I see a lot of support for him on the blogs, but don't think that is a true cross section. Already, the polls show him at about 24 pts. behind Hillary, at only 17%. But, who the hell knows how accurate that is, since it is in the mainstream media which we know is slanted. It will be an uphill battle for him, but I still hold out hope that he can prove his "cleanliness". Candidates in the past haven't had to "prove", just deny. This time however, it will have to be proof. Something we all require due to the past screwings we've gotten by this admin, and are finally waking up from. Good luck, Obama.
