I'm burying these stories now. Seriously people chill out. Go after the law that gave these cops the blank check to subdue the protesters before the protesters had a chance to move. The City disallows large assemblies without a permit. Why hasn't the permit law been challenged in Court? If it was challenged, why did the Court not define the law as unconstitutional? Do some research people.I'm less concerned about a bunch of rebels without a cause getting whacked over the head with a baton then I am with the overall amount of force that was on the ground and in the air in the City. They had UAVs, sonic weaponary, military assets, and the crowd-control tactics were extremely excessive. I was in the City during the whole thing, and I was just taken back by the display of force. I felt very uncomfortable.
you've never taken a baton before. If you had, you would chose the OMG girls anyday. Those things are pain sticks, and they cops know how to use them for maximum effectiveness.
Since when is hanging out on our campus causing trouble? Don't say smashing windows because that was ONE MAN who smashed all the windows and he was from California.
