thinkprogress.org— So much for supporting the returning troops. This Administration's positions (and John McCain's positions) on Veterans issues is abominable and makes me sick!

Any suicide case resulting from lack of available treatment for soldiers suffering from PTSD should be viewed as recklessness; a wanton disregard for the known dangers of a particular situation. All politicians that voted against providing treatment should be charged with involuntary manslaughter because it satisfies the definition of THE f**kING LAW! The APA and the Pentagon both agree that this is a serious problem based on the research findings; but then again Washington has shown a pervasive pattern of completely ignoring science to the detriment of everyone; soldiers unfortunately are not immune.
Hell, I'VE got PTSD from living in this country under Bush for the last seven years...where's my benefits? These soldiers are complaining like a bunch of liberals. They knew how Uncle Sam treats his veterans when they signed up; if they didn't take 10 minutes to google "Vietnam Veterans benefits," well, tough titty.I'm so sick of everyone hiding behind these soldiers..."support our troops." Give me a f**king break...you guys treat them like they're in the special olympics. They deal with death in the stifling desert heat; I think they can stand a little honest criticism.

Tell your mother to stab you to death, she made a mistake.

How can one attempt to minimize PTSD occurances in the face of new evidence explaining that military suicides are at new record highs? http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/americas/7426875. ...
