I also see the following when I plug the iPod in:iPod Database Import Failed: 'iTunesDB '/media/ipod/iPod_Control/iTunes/iTunesDB' corrupt: mhsd expected at 2526794.'from gtkpod. Google doesn't seem to know much about that error message though.

Anybody know when the 2G nano will be supported? Or are we still at the stage where it'll be done "when they finish it"?

You put such a negative spin on it. Calm down. It's a good thing. Besides, the basic principle is still the same, even if some of the names are different.

Title should be Using your iPod on Ubuntu/Debian Linux. It's a quick read, essentially, "use gtkpod." There, I saved you from reading it. BTW, I think they missed a few available spaces to put more google ads.

I would try formatting the whole ipod with gparted or something then trying again. I had a few problems with my ipod, after I formatted it and started again (just using amarok) I've had no probs. Amarok will create all the database files for you again etc.
