How about posting the articles when they actually accomplish something, this article is lame and using google earth for something as simple as battleship is retarded.

Haven't you guys heard of Google Earth War? It's sort've like Risk, but a bit more into the economical and technological side of things rather than the strategic.www.gewar.netIt was on Digg some months ago. It's not very shiny, but it's still got around 6000 registered users.

How about using Google Earth to play Chess? Check out http://www.gechess.org . The site was launched over 3 months ago and already has over 600 registered players. Seeing the chess pieces move is optional. You can still play the game without google earth if you like. Also has a chat feature. The game has the potential to evolve into different chess board themes. You could also have a world series played in different countries etc.
