This is especially remarkable considering how cumbersome it is for people to put content on the internet in light of paltry upoad speeds. There's a lot of dedicated people out there who want to be heard. Can you imagine the magnitude of user-generated content if the telcos would offer more upload speeds through their...um....networks?

I hope this isnt a fad. its pretty cool that lots of the content on the internet is being submitted/moderated by the people who actually have to look at it!

I like the article and agree with the content. But my "dig" on Digg is that the poster should find a better source that KSBI TV in Oklahoma. What do the reporters there know about web content?
