joystiq.com — A newly purchased PS3 (and owner) had played Tony Hawk's Project 8 for a grand total of 30 minutes when the PS3 decided it didn't want any more of that. Maybe THP8 made the unit sick, the game doesn't exactly have a great image (pun intended). In any case, this is one unhappy PS3 consumer.

so your pc broke once when you were still a noob and all of a sudden mac is going to take over the world? have you seen the usage percentages recently? if anything the free linux distro's that will run on any pc will take over the computer world not apple because not everyone is wanting to spend all their money on a computer that will be outdated and slow in a year or two thats virtually impossible to upgrade, at least with my pc if i need a new motherboard and cpu i can get one for reasonable prices, how much does a new mac motherboard cost from apple i wonder...

At least the 360 doesn't have that annoying beep, haha. However, everyone knows that stuff like this would happen with the first systems released, its not really a big suprise... it shouldn't have happened though.

every ps3 360 and all the other consoles are faultyits just a factthay arnt made to be thrown arounf moved while turned onstud upright or anythingi had my 360 4 years with out a problemby how long u got it til it brakes is cos how good u look after itmy ps3 hasnt had a problem yetgoes louder than normal when i play a game for a long timebut thats cos its over heatingwhen thay say take a rest whiel playing its for ur ps3/360 own goodi admit soem are made faulty nothing perfect thay cant fix every problemits impossible to think the console wont break in time
