usebb.net — UseBB is a light weight Open Source and Standards Compliant forum. Although it limits its basic feature set to only the absolutely essential in order to stay bloat free, it does have some unique features of its own.(e.g. Automatic DNSBL powered banning and DNS based e-mail address verification via MX record queries)

Looks nice at first glance - very clean and simple interface. I'd like to know more about its advantages vis-a-vis phpbb and Simple Machines forums, though. I also wonder how hard it's going to be to integrated this into a CMS environment - I just finished setting up SMF in a Joomla environment using tools from JoomlaHacks.com and imagine that many others are deploying forums in CMS environments. Great news, though - digg!

Here is UseBB's feature list: http://www.usebb.net/featuresIt intentionally does not have many of the features that SMF & phpbb have (like polls and private messaging) but they may add them for 2.0.As for integrating it with a CMS, I am not sure if anyone has tried to do it for the more recent versions (I know a commercial CMS system had support for 0.7)

I love the fact that it's so light-weight, but I could never get the logout link to work after installing it. Very annoying.
