He doesn't say 'can't do,' he says 'better.' It's called iLife, and it's all about integration, and easy of use. Have you ever tried to get MusicMatch, EasyShare or Photoshop Album, Movie Maker or Premier Elements, and Nero to talk to each other? Share media seamlessly?Pop into your local AppleStore and watch an iLife demo sometime.
I'm glad the user of a computer has no impact on the products that are produced with it. Just buy an Apple and it will just spit out creative material.
The Wi-Fi update wasn't for the secureworks hack, this one was already patched before SecureWorks pulled their stunts so they had to use a third party device... But let me guess you don't believe this."Microsoft however has no control over what hardware is used in the pcs that have its operating system."That's what we (Mac advocates) have been arguing since the beginning of time!Whatever the reasons or "excuses" you can find, at the end of the day Macs have much less hardware/OS compatibility problems and don't have viruses (for now, and nothing points to a dramatic increase in the future)."They use all propietary hardware the avg mac user doesnt know how or where to get new hardware in a computer."Like what care to give an example of "propietary" hardware in the Mac? They use standard intel chipsets, PCI, USB, ATA/IDE/SATA, standard RAM etc...90% of PC users don't ever use any of their extra internal PCI card slots nor install anything inside their computers... What a waste of metal, plastic and energy...
"And what the hell is the deal with saying a mac isn't a pc? Pc = personal computer, therefore Macs = pcs."DOS/Windows users are the reason why Apple must now use PC to talk about Windows PC.You think you're so smart to tell that to Mac users, but I guess you are too young to remember that Mac users spent a good part of the 80s and 90s trying to teach Windows/DOS users that PC=Personnal Computer and that Macs were PC too.Since the masses continues to use the PC term to talk about Windows PCs vs Macs, Apple is better to use it, especially since it's a short word, and Apple doesn't have to explain the whole thing (PC running Windows).
@mozzepyes actually these videos are intended for how you say "[the] general population and most of them need Apple to hold their hands." Usually in a business you dont think what you can do to appeal the geeks and smarter people who are probably the minority. You think about the people who need Apple to hold their hands. Who are probably the majority. You make more money when you have more customers...

I don't get why all the Mac ads always talk about PC getting viruses. It's the OS that gets viruses, not the hardware. Windows gets viruses. Mac OS X doesn't. But neither does linux (which can be run on a PC) Guide on running OS X on a PC: http://www.windowsdevcenter.com/pub/a/windows/2005/01/18/PearPC.html

I always find it funny when people bash Linux on a LAMP based site. That's like graffitying "Spraypaint sucks!"
