What would be great is if all the wireless carriers would just get on the same kind of network so that consumers can choose their carrier without worrying about whether or not their phone will work. Doing that would increase competition and give the carriers greater incentives to improve their networks and customer service or, risk losing their customers to another carrier.

All of Asia is not CDMA. Most of Asia is GSM actually with some CDMA, only South Korea and Japan are the special CDMA ones!GSM > CDMASIM Card > ESN
