Why is it that you believe all conservatives are highly religious? Stereotype much? I could just as well say that you believe 9/11 inside job, 5 people control the world, live babies are sacrificed at the bohemian grove, and you prefer bin Laden over the USA. Am I right? From a conservative who does not believe in creation, I'd say you were quite wrong. We do look at facts. My wife had a great delivery here in the US. Plenty of attentive nurses, so many that I'd say the phrase "too many cooks in the kitchen" applied there. From what I've read about other NHS hospitals, we are fortunate for my child to be born in the USA. We don't want rationed care like what we see in Canada and England. "Free" can become quite expensive when your outcome is a premature death due to being on a waiting list.
I have seen nothing in the healthcare proposals to increase the number of nurses & doctors. In fact the proposals will make the staffing ratios worse due to increased demand.You clearly do not truly have a grasp on the situation in healthcare. The hospital was not understaffed because they wanted to be. Look at open req's for the hospital and you will see a huge number for nurses. They simply aren't enough around to fill all the open positions.
They don't understand that socialized medicine spreads misery. This article is a perfect example of this. Of course one needs common sense to recognize this.
