These lions are born and grown in captivity. He was probably working with them since they were born.Of course, he would never do this with lions in their natural habitat.
Sweet! I knew this guy named Tim Treadwell (Google him) who became really good friends with Grizzly bears in Alaska! He had lots and lots of fun with them. They were so cute and sweet and would never do him any harm because he became such good friends with them. They developed a bond that was unshakable...until they ATE HIM AND HIS GIRLFRIEND FOR BREAKFAST ONE DAY.Never saw that one coming... /s
Did you ever read his story? The bears he lived with were NOT the ones that killed him. Bears change regions towards the end of fall to prepare for winter and typically he left the park before that occurrence.Instead of leaving like normal he decided to stay and even his notes and journal said he was unfamiliar with most of the bears he began to see in the area and they were more actively hunting to prepare for hibernation. There is even a video of the entire attack, but the family refused to watch or release it.
Plus TIm never actually TOUCHED the bears, I mean he tried and may have gotten a slight touch as they were passing by, but not like... rode on them like a raft.

Is he spraying oxytocin into the noses of the lions? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oxytocin This would explain why they were so affectionate ...

It's sad when a funny joke, is quickly followed up by a lame one.
