despite its shortcomings i liked arx fatalis. sure the writing was bad, storyline cheap and interface alittle rugged, but still it had great graphics and simply going melee was fun enough to kee the game playable. i thought it was the best dungeon game to come out after (around) Morrowwind and before Oblivion.

I think the games after V kind of sucked. The change in play kind of killed it for me. The games seemed to get worse as they went after V too.

Hey, 8 was atmospheric if nothing else. I didn't regret buying it, which is more than I can say for EVERY FREAKING game released this decade, just about.
