I honestly believe the worst thing MySpace ever did was let users have control over page design. Yes, there are a very select few MySpace'ers that can actually design an easy to look at yet creative page. However, these are heavily outweighed by the hideous, loud, annoying pages that most users create, as this article points out. What some of those people do to their pages should be illegal its so god damned ugly.

ugly pages are not an accomplishment, a real story would be finding a handfull of GOOD lookign myspace pages. That in itself is impossible however.
