arstechnica.com— Firefox 3.0 displays a EULA when it's first installed, and that has some Ubuntu users hopping mad. It's also sparked debate over the role of licensing in the open source community.

People like you are called... what's the word.. oh yeah "****s".For any linux n00bs do not do as this idiot suggests:sudo = do this with root (super user) permissionsrm = ReMove -rf = Recursive and Force/ = the root of your hard diskie it will remove everything from / trashing your machine.
No one is forcing you to breathe, so you'd better not have the audacity to complain when I fart in your face.If you don't like stink then don't use the air. There's plenty of other air you could use, like from this methane tank.
I'm using my 'f**king' computer just fine without Windows/Mac. And where was this proprietary OOB myth when I tried corralling all the drivers on a recent XP install?
dholbert, possibly. I can't find any screenshots of the EULA except the ones that show it as a popup that you have to accept. So I'll take your word on that.I do have to disagree with proactively. Mozilla did not try to work with the distros proactively. They tried to push it and force distros to add the EULA. Then only when there was a public uproar did they reevaluate their position. That is the opposite of proactive. It was only when Mozilla was faced with distros pulling out Firefox did they actually respond.

Don't know why you're getting dugg down, I found what you said entertaining and pretty much true.

If abrowser is just an unbranded Firefox, that would be fantastic! In my experience, IceWeasel is not the same as FF, and I don't like it as much.
