So you guys really think putting stuff in other people private property without a permit, blocking the sidewalk, wasting police time to promote Ubuntu relying on Microsoft popularity instead of spending more time to make a better, more user friendly, softwares/hardwares compatible OS is the right thing to do? You guys also think that Microsoft's popularity is only because it has better marketing, and nothing else? If it's that easy then Apple should have take over Microsoft by now. You guys need to shut up and work on your OS instead of telling people every year is Linux year and doing stupid s**t like this to disrupt the public or at least get a permit or get a booth in the mall. Because you know there are people who might need the help from those police while you are trying to get attention illegally, think about that.

Damn, when I read IceHouse I was hoping the article was about beer.

I live right by where this happened. When I walked by, I had to double take to make sure it was a FOSS/ANTI-DRM/etc demo, and when I asked about it, the fat old men clustered around the inflatable penguin looked down their smarmy Advanced D&D playing noses at me.If Liniux/FOSS is ever going to get out of it's fat white nerd ghetto the community should be a little more open to WHO ACTUALLY USES IT. Don't hate the player!

I prefer to think of it as North America, but file a bug if you think it is. Thats one of the beauties of open source, being able to change it to your needs.
