These names are truly horrible. No random user will be more inclined to switch to an operating system with a name that sounds like it comes from an infant learn your ABC's book. "Ubuntu" itself is not a name that is condusive to making the operating system main stream. I love Linux! But people laugh at me when i ask them "have you ever used ubuntu?". Ubuntu should be going for a name that appeals to a broader audience. Look at the nintendo wii. They changed it from "revolution" to "wii" because they wanted to broaden their market. Look at the wonders it has done for them. A huge number of older players have invested in the system, as well as female users.
