It's certainly not the most requested change. Go to brainstorm.ubuntu.com, or look around the forums. I know a lot of people who were initially attracted to Ubuntu because of the brown, simply because it's a change from what your normally see.

Doesn't it take longer to request a feature than it does to change the theme?

hey motif, lay off man.yhan, they changed it.i use a mighty mouse with ubuntu.you just turn your bluetooth on, and make sure the PC is discoverable. turn on your mousethen, it will pop up saying "xxx device is trying to connect"allow it. now is where it changed. go to the services tag and click input, then add, then show all devices.your mouse will show, and hit add and there you go!

this is the first build of ubuntu to work in 64bit on my pc with the nvidia proprietary drivers.my machine is a custom built PC with an Athlon X2 6000+ (3ghz) and an 8600GT 512mb.Amazing performance and stability for an alpha build!

I'll wait for the final version. I ran a "sudo update-manager -d" on Ubuntu 7.10 to upgrade to the 8.04 Alpha and my wireless broke completely. I haven't been able to figure out how to get wireless to work in the 8.04 Alpha for my Dell D610 laptop. I'm rolling back to 7.10, wireless works flawlessly with this version.I do agree that Ubuntu should definitely improve how wireless is handled. I'm looking forward to 8.04, I know it is going to be another fantastic distro. I do wish more work would go into how the fonts are handled, fonts do generally look better on Windows XP and Apple OS X. Anyone know any tips on improving fonts in Ubuntu, please post a link to your how-to.

I'm trying Xubuntu 8.04 Alpha 6 right now as a live CD. It runs pretty good on here. I'll test out Kubuntu KDE4 Alpha 6 next as a live CD. However, you would think that this latest alpha would have the latest versions of GIMP (2.4.5) and Pidgin (2.4.0). I wonder if the Gutsy versions on getdeb.net will install/work on here.

Now, the mandatory rant: my bluetooth mouse still doesn't work! (to be noted it has always worked under previous releases). I blame it on monkeys who decided to use gvfs knowing it handles bluetooth as well as lubed bananas.<a class="user" href="http://girls.paramegsoft.com/category/1/1">http://girls.paramegsoft.com/category/1/1</a><a class="user" href="http://download.paramegsoft.com/">http://download.paramegsoft.com/</a><a class="user" href="http://girls.paramegsoft.com/category/3/3">http://girls.paramegsoft.com/category/3/3</a><a class="user" href="http://girls.paramegsoft.com/category/6/6">http://girls.paramegsoft.com/category/6/6</a>
