What's wrong with you people? This was done to show how far Ubuntu's flexibility can stretch. Take your utter nonsense ramblings of "there's no point in doing this" elsewhere.
You are an absolute retard. There is more 'homebrew' running on the 360 or even the original xbox than there is on the ps3 or ps3 combined. Homebrew usually denotes it was developed unprofessionally with the native console hardware in mind. Any 'homebrew' i've seen running on the PS3 isn't so homebrewish in my opinion. I just use it to play bluray rips on :). Now just saying the letters: XBMC will denounce anyone that wants to challenge this. Yet, i'm becomming more intrigued by my ps3 every day. Which of course, is why i'm in this thread in the first place!Linux runs natively with no intentional restrictions on the 360. I don't see anyone doing that with the PS3.
@uzikoOk here I completely disagree with you.99% of america? You completely lost any credibility you had with me earlier. Give any solid evidence that even 50% of america has an up to date Computer case that will mate with any newer mainboard your purchasing, let alone find 2 gigs of LOW DENSITY ram for 40 dollars with any kind of reliability behind it. I'd like to see the framerates that you'd get with crysis running Vista with your crappy high density ram your obviously referring to with this '150$' card you speak of. I think you also forgot a good PSU, spacious hard drive, and the shipping costs to get these kind of 'obvious internet bargains' to your home. Try adding another 3-400 to your cost and thats about what you'll need to spend. about 150-200 on a quality core 2 duo that you were speaking so highly of in a previous post. You obviously have no sense in mathematics since you think this 'budget' computer would be 5 times faster than a ps3. In fact, there won't be anything it is 5 times faster at. I'm willing to make that wager. It will i'm sure be 5 times slower.

"Imagine that s**t, Linux on a MS gaming console... never. "Yeah? http://www.xbox-linux.org/ Imagine that..
