Of course it does.The thing is that the next fglrx driver will be much better. That means faster and with support for AIGLX.

So long as you install over the Ubuntu install you should be fine. Anyway, if you want the old release back, you can do that with grub-install, or some such. Ask on the forums, I'm sure someone will know.

Agreed. I go there every once in a while to ask my questions and, sometimes, even answer those that I can answer.
