"the only solution is to put politicians of BOTH MUTHER f**kING parties into office who will spend wisely. Now that will mean no govern mentally ran health care program. We'll have to get Iraq over with and get out."I disagree that either are necessary. Both the US healthcare programs and the iraq war are run extremely poorly from a budgetary standpoint. It's not even because it's government. If you let most western european nations run the show they could do equally well with half the budget. Things like hiring private contractors on high-priced no-bid contracts to go play soldier in iraq, and things like forbidding americans from buying medicine in a free market because it would lower health industry profits are just unthinkable in most countries. My impression from the spending is that it is deliberately as high as they can possibly make it, with the end-goal of simply killing off the federal government. Given the complete lack of any worry about all the economic indicators that predict very dire consequences from the current fiscal policy, either the current leadership are functionally retarded (and I don't really think they are), or they really do want to spend the federal government out of existance.

> and mail, mail is a gov't business.Oh heavens no! What will I do now that I don't get my mailbox stuffed with junkmail that I throw away immediately since I pay all my bills online? The truth is, there isn't a single Federal government "service" I need.
