homelandstupidity.us — This is the amazing story of DEA Special Agent Sandalio Gonzalez who--after discovering that the ICE kept using an informant after he committed dozens of murders--was threatened with bad performance evaluations if he didn't retire.

Yeah, it's really weird that the corporate-controlled mainstream media doesn't touch stories like this.I wonder why? Hmmmmmm.........

I think you guys may be losing perspective here a little bit. It takes a pretty callous individual to be able to justify allowing murders to go unpunished for the sake of stopping contraband. I mean, this is akin to your local police officer looking the other way on a bunch of home burglaries because the guy committing them has a line on some neighborhood speeders. I mean, come on!

This is bigger than abu-grave folks. Basically what happened here was that the DoJ decided that collecting information for a drug case was more important than innocent lives. The ICE handlers and upper levels of the DoJ knew this guy, a paid government informant, was *continuing* to murder people and they decided to let it happen. One victim was a case of mistaken identidy, a completely innocent legal US resident. They could have saved these peoples lives but decided gathering evedence for a drug case was more important than innocent lives.

@ Anyone who sees these government activities as justified...Whats really worse here, drug trafficking or murder?

This is indeed horrible. But it's not surprising. Think about it. This same government created Al Qaeda way back during the Carter administration to destalize Afghanistan and draw the Soviets into a war (laundering the money through Pakistan of course). The government then continued supporting Osama through the Balkan wars during the Clinton years. Clinton had an offer to have Osama turned over by Sudan but he turned it down. Bush had an offer from the Taliban BEFORE 9/11 to turn over Bin Laden, but the offer was ignored. So it's not at all surprising that our government would turn a blind eye to a murdering drug informant.
