They aren't very good, they're just good.Put them against Spain in the World Cup (i.e. a competition where everyone really goes for it) and they'll get flattened. The US deserve a 2nd round spot, maybe quarter finals. No more.
Sorry to piss on your bonfire, but a draw isn't a win.And listing all those competitions that England haven't one, same for US, although under my understanding the US haven't won a World Cup either.
Goalkeepers have to be the most athletic player on the pitch, USA produces many athletic individuals. As for Keller, he created GK drama in 2006 which hurt the team, and TIMAY is a far superior keeper.
As a lover of the beautiful game, I completely agree and in a way am happy about the quality of their play because I really want the US to get into footy... I'm so sick of all these soccer vs football arguments. As an England fan upon hearing this news...... :|... :)... :D
Hahnemann (correct spelling AFAIK)'s alright, but yeah he's a step below Howard.Keller's not first choice in any EPL team, possibly a squad member somewhere though. Not heard of him in quite a while now.

You'll still qualify from the group. Hahnemann is still a very good goalkeeper.

That's what they said about the Confed Cup and the 2002 World Cup.
