Right because we should give billions to CitiBank instead right? This is a grain of sand in the sandbox compared to the billions wasted in the financial sector due to risky business decisions. The failure of the big 3 has little to do with an inferior product, because you can argue all you want that American cars are s**t when in reality they're not. It has a lot more to do with the UAW and the overpaid line workers driving the cost of American made cars through the roof to a point in which they cannot remain competitive.

Washington will dictate that Ford build a solar-powered car with a built in breathalyzer, a digital radio that doesn't receive any talk radio, built in child seats (even if you don't have children), can't go faster than 55 mph, has a built in black box that reports when and where you go(they will have to tax your milage since your aren't paying the gas tax any more(solar powered remember)) and is Neon yellow for high visibility, and I will still buy a Toyota cause they build what I want for what I can afford.
