At least he didn't say he was going to carry it as a sidearm for personal protection from a mugger."Give me your wallet!""Screw you mugger man! Now stand right there as I go hide behind that chevy 5 blocks down the road and take you out!"
@gamerage:If our government were gassing its own people, making people disapear in the night for saying an unkind word about the government, putting people through shredders, systematically using rape as a tool of punishment, and hoarding all of the country's natural wealth while allowing people to live in squallor, then I'd probably welcome a forced regime change here in the US. But that's not the case here, it was the case with Saddam's Iraq. Take your blinders off.
the biggest mistakes the U.S. made in this war.......was dismantling the Iraqi army.....we would be mostly home by now and with a far lesser body count.p.s. watch the documentary "The Fog of War"
it was a good shot, i know because i hold or held the record with the m-14 in afgan, with a 1,000 meter shot while the guy was running for cover, so wether it may be luck or skill let him enjoy his shot, its not the kill that is charished its the shot that holds more value!
actually writedawg you are correct for the longest recorded shot in general. but if you read carefeully it says the longest confirmed shot for the 7.62 calibur.

Serbu .50 it is cheap and was ranked #1 in a shoot off in a gun magazine! Forget the Barrett. Over priced, overweight paperweight. http://serbu.com/
