What is zenlunatic and why do I care about informing it of what is going on in the world if they can't find out themselves if they are interested. (google.com)this is great news though.

"Stay ahead"? I was pretty sure we were behind, seeing as how there is no cable or DSL access where I live in the middle of nowhere, and am using a slower/more expensive wireless service.

"Looking to stay ahead of Asian and European rivals in broadband deployment"That statement's pretty hillarious considering how far we're LAGGING BEHIND Europe and Asia when it comes to broadband access. The US may have the most users by numbers, but in terms of percent of the population it reaches, bandwidth, and cost we're way behind.

So now instead of opening up the spectrum and letting the free market compete with some real innovation, the bush administration has decided to auction the spectrum off to their big corporate friends. I can't see where the bush administration is doing anything different than they usually do, catering to rich corporations. I f-ing hate the the bush administration. good points niggs and xeeton

Any for anyone thinking about becomming a "WiMAX" ISP, you can pretty much forget it unless you have a minimum of $5mil needed for entry level 50k to 100k markets. We own some spectrum in a 5,000,000 + city -- are we sitting on a gold mind?
