Brian, uh er, the War of Northern Agression was not a rebellion any more then the War of Independence was.... oh wait! The War of Independence was a rebellion so waging war for liberty and independence is a rebellion! That justifies war crimes....I wonder if that would have floated during Nuremburg?
The problem NOW is not easy to solve. The founding fathers/mothers put in every possible foreseeable protection to the citizens against governmental abuses. The order of THEIR day was educate the people (through rallies, billboards, word of mouth), and taking up arms against an invading alien: government against the people. But NOW, in THIS day, we the people can't even come close to fighting in arms. We would be pulverized. Any rifle, shotgun, automatic weapon, etc., that the well armed American citizen could possibly own or get their hands on wouldn't/couldn't compete with the militarized police forces now in use. So. What's left for 'us' to do about usurping the criminals?- Not much. We could strike, en mas, until the government decides to hold elections, which would be rigged anyway. Or, we could expose every little nasty illegal, unconstitutional activity of any official. Which would do exactly what?- Because THAT'S where we are right now. Much is being exposed. Most citizens still have no idea what's going on, because they still don't know that the MSM is a front for 'government' propaganda. The only thing truly left for 'us' to do: PRAY.
From your own quote "more than 18 million PASSED THROUGH the gulag"Do you even know what 'passed through' means? Prisoners, unless sentenced for life without parole, are usually FREED after a certain amount of time has passed. Also, this all occurred over the course of the second world war. Those that were exiled and worked to death were axis prisoners of war, of which there were millions. As for 'further *millions*' being exiled to remote parts, thats a joke, on account of your most reliable source, which is wikipedia. I will just go in now and change that joke of a lie right now before it destroys anymore young minds.
I will defend myself from terrorists if they come for me or anyone I love. I don't need to federal government to turn our country into a fascist dictatorship to protect me.

How are non-citizens not "the governed" if the government is governing them?
