Because your car doesn't run on oil. There's more to the cost of producing gas than buying barrels of oil.

With all due respect to former Vice-President Al Gore, given his many years of dedication and his recently awarded Pulitzer Prize for his work on making the world aware of “Global Warming” and though still shrouded in some controversy, our even greater world problem is “Global Pollution”.http://www.quazen.com/News/Opinions/Al-Gores-Decre ...Al Gore's Decree on Global Warming is Not Our Only Crisis

well the US has sent a very clear signal to the rest of the world and the Arab world in particular that no one just no one can stop them if they would invade a country even if it meant without international approval or understanding. Its like all these talks of sovereignty and such can always be there on the table as it looks nice but if we (the US) would want to do a thing, we would and no one can do anything, so you ()the arabs) better start listening to us. You (assuming ur livin in the states, Im in sweden btw) may perhaps not realize this but now the whole world has tacitly understood that the US can OPENLY step on international laws when it feels like, although everybody knows the US has a lot of stuff going on tacitly..especially with its record in latin america and its installed dictators..its a powerful message it sent.I mean operation ajax was SOLELY as Iran tried nationalizing its oil. Then again Iraq had nationalized its oil and the oil corps in the US were hurting bad as Iraq had a hell lot of oil to be made profit of.
