crooksandliars.com — For daring to report illegal arms sales, Navy veteran Donald Vance was imprisoned by the American military in a security compound outside Baghdad and subjected to harsh interrogation methods. There were times, huddled on the floor in solitary confinement with that head-banging music blaring dawn to dusk and interrogators yelling like Fox News Hosts

Yes, if the military is doing something illegal and you go tell people they are doing something illegal... you deserve to be imprisoned? Gathering evidence doesn't mean "spying" either, it means getting hard proof that the stuff is happening. What is more hilarious is that you are probably all for all the warrantless wire tapping and security cameras anywhere. You probably have no problem with the military spying on you, but anyone trying to take a peek into the dirty laundry the military's got going and it's a f**king capitol crime. Here's a little nugget of information for you that, i dunno, you must have slept through in highschool: You, as a citizen of this country, are the MOST IMPORTANT entity in the country. The country is about you and others like you. The military is in YOUR service. The government is in YOUR service and is supposed to be working to improve your way of life and to ensure your rights as a citizen are upheld. What the military and government are not supposed to do is imprison and torture people who are trying to make it known that those entities are corrupt. The Government and Military... the majority of the people in those branches of our leadership are supposed to be the 'Good Guys'. What kind of hero would punish someone trying to do the right thing?

“In the end …no one cared.”“Their lives get ruined.”“Vance paid with 97 days of his life.”My little girls get to spend the rest of their lives with their molester, no contact with their natural mother. There’s plenty of evidence. No one cares. Their lives and mine are ruined. We will pay for the next ten years.Judges tally up their cases closed whether justice was served or not, then say pay them more for their hard work they’ve just shown you. Same with the fraud on Wall Street and the capitalist who believe they should never fall. The wealthy and greedy run this country, not morals. Welcome to America!

Both of your posts are idiotic at best. After reading them I can't say that I'm shocked that complete failures still live among us. 1. "spreading fear and propaganda just like you claim they do": It's not fear and propaganda if it's true and based on factual evidence. You asked for a reliable source and it was provided early on in the thread. Also, had you bothered to read the article you would have found that out. 2. "It's not fear mongering when THEY do it": It's not fear mongering if it's factual and not done over and over to the point that it's excessive. Which brings about two other points. 1) The current administration is fear mongering because their lies are unfounded and they do it excessively and repeatedly to the point that it becomes propaganda. 2) This is the first time this article was posted on Digg, as far as I know. So to recap, you're both proof that the people who support the fascist in the white house are ignorant, because they don't even know the basic definitions of words they spew, AND, they don't bother reading articles, but instead make rash judgments based on opinion and idiocy. Nicely done, asshats.
