So let me get this straight. They are saying that Steve Jobs, one of the founders of the world's PC industry, worth billions of dollars practically monthly, and currently (again) CEO of a company one of whose products' trade names is practically the only word now used for "MP3 player", is "out of touch with the rest of the business world"?Who's really out of touch here? A jealous CEO?

Not only is this true for the future, it has been demonstrated to be true in the past. Japan had tough emission standards for their cars, which in turn forced Japanese auto makers to make more efficient cars which ended up helping the Japanese companies compete in the long run.
