hak5.org — The latest episode of Hak5 has a segment where they show a USB key that takes advantage of U3 technology and weaknesses in Windows autorun and LAN Manager features. Essentially this USB key steals password hashes, LSA secrets, and creates back doors within seconds on insertion. The show notes are pretty detailed.

If you have a bootable CD/USB drive, some password tools can be burn to it and you can boot your computer from USB to run the software,so that you can recover/remove WIndows system password from USB.
Such as Windows Password Rescuer, here I just list the simple steps:
Step 1: Download Windows Password Rescuer
Step 2: Run it to burn to bootable CD/DVD or USB flash drive
Step 3: BIOS setting of your locked computer to boot form CD or USB
Step 4: Reset Windows password on a friendly window after Windows Password Rescuer starts. You also can use Windows Password Rescuer to add a new user with administrator privilege to your Windows without login. With this New user account you can logon your locked computer directly.

@FCon4Anyone with a half sense of grammar knows what I meant. This isn't the place for grammar lessons but since you seem to want it to be, I will start by saying you don't use an apostrophe in the plural form. It is "ifs", not "if's".

I'd try it, but that means I'd have to take off the U3 software, which is surprisingly useful for me.

It's all hypothetical and should be tested in the real world. Have fun testing!

Yea just drop a CD labeled "boss with his assistant" or "horse porn" in the smoking area and you dont have to waste a USB stick. Well I wonder how many companies give and admin access to their boxes. Plus you don't get AD passwords only local admin. And that is virtually useless on good network.I mean this is really sooo lame.

I have met the same problem a few days ago! </p><p >The login screen rejected my passwords. I was frustrated because there was very important data on my disk and I couldn't reinstall the OS. ............. However, I fortunately got to know the <strong>Windows Password Unlocker</strong>, which is a professional <strong>windows password recovery</strong> tool for us to <strong><a href="<a class="user" href="http://sn.im/wpu&quot;&gt;reset" rel="nofollow">http://sn.im/wpu&quot;&gt;reset</a> windows 7 password</a> </strong>instantly yet no data loss.
