what most people arnt reading is 4.8GIGABITS not bytes bits. huge difference. yeah its still a vast improvement but it wont be 100% of that speed. even the 480megaBITS of info isnt close to that speed. or usb2.0. so yeah its much faster. but its deceptive to most. and fiber optic? so what i predict there will be a new universal connection coming out soon. mark my words. theres work being done now. fiber optic ISNT that expensive. not for a 2-3foot device wire.

Yeah WTH is the need for all this speed. Until we're all using SSD's and FTTH is there really a need for this?

Sometimes I just wish they would put out the best technology they have right at this moment. All put out and timed to $$Profit. Damn it.
