Is it me or does the driver's seat look a bit like a toilet? :Plol.Fantastic idea though! next question is when do we see small hatchbacks with similar technology...
Individually it doesn't matter, but it is the mindset that using a reusable bag for groceries, buying a hybrid car that does. I has both an additive effect (even small it does reduce overall polution) but most importantly it shows that people practice what they preach which matters when outsiders look at us and how young people behave when they grow up.And I would much rather have kids see personal responsibility than having them see money thrown at the government.
Actually, if you look at the past, every time Congress has voted to increase truck weights and lengths (which the ATA has always argued will decrease the number of trucks on the road,) the number of trucks has doubled. That's not consistent with population increase or an increase in national shipping and demand, it's because the ATA and trucking companies get relaxed regulations, and then they go back on their 'promise' and up the number of trucks on the roads. It has nothing to do with demand.
