I just saw a pig flying outside of my window!Seriously, though, the conspiracy theorists were right all along on this one. Then again, it's not as though the people we have been pushing for this for nearly a century (if not longer) haven't said a word about it. They often published their intent in many of their papers that went public, it was just the average person's idiotic skepticism that allowed their ideology to fester and grow, mostly unchecked, for so long - not that that's anything new.Again, we have only ourselves to thank for what is more than likely inevitable - a world government. But that's just the tip of the iceberg.By the way, here's an interesting video that gives some details on how we came to be where we are...Ex-KGB agent Yuri Bezmenov on the dumbing down of the public for a Marxist-Leninist America:http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=12f_1225981158

It's not what you say, but how you say it... well, I know enough to appreciate valid points when I hear them, but I prefer to hear them in a calm and coherent manner.I've never had an interest to listen to the Alex Jones show, based on the above statement.I like liberty, and reason. I don't like sensationalism and conspiracy theories. I don't like the celebrity of politics or researching a conspiracy for no other reason than to research and not act on anything. Basically, I don't like wasting my time on paranoid delusions. Most people don't tell the difference between a pro-liberty advocate and a truther, sadly.I'm only an authority on my own opinions, but I believe I'm on the right track by supporting productive activity which increases liberty.

And the UN is an abomination. Their charter gives them license to make all the power grabs they please. If it were only a commons of sovereign nations, that would be fine, but the UN is constantly trying to legislate within the member nations.

People need to understand the concepts of government and freedom.1) The individual should be the cheif governance.2) Only when highly efficient and necessary, some governance should be handed off to the community (such as community safety, police, fire, etc.)3) Only when further efficient and necessary, some governance should be handed off to the state (such as transportation, some economic issues)4) Finally, an extremely minimal amount of power should be given to the federal government (such as national defense)5) and in overtime... a world government should have the most minimal governance over a person (such as simple trade agreements)

Great thing about a capitalist free society is that there is nothing wrong with that! You live how you want to live, I live how I want to live. You worship your god, I worship mine, or even none. We can still be friends and do business. Profit unites us!Same goes for nations and REAL free trade. What we have now is super taxed and restricted trade controlled by those in power to keep them in power.Once you wake up to this nothing is the same =)

@odigity: You're a moron. With no government, there will be a pronounced void whereby anyone with any aspirations of control, power, or dominance, will attempt to fill.

Don't put words in my mouth. All I said was unified laws (and thus the relative simplicity this will bring) and unified currencies (free trade to the max) were good.Birth rate limits are also not an inherently bad thing. Unless you /want/ the movie Idiocracy to come to frutition, eventual wars over water and food supplies, rampant disease, etc. Our current rates are simply unsustainable. I'll clarify: wiping people out, not good, limiting future birth rates, good.

I'm sure IRA sympathizers are still well armed, just because you feel safe being defenseless, doesn't mean you really are.
