No wonder the grain silo by my house started to blink today. I would take pictures, but it's hard to get close. Farmer Bill has his farm protected with a lot of barbed-wire and sniper towers. I guess he's trying to keep his secret sauce secret.
Another thing to consider with this (very expensive) system is this was the best use of the money. Could that money be better spent elsewhere, to achieve a greater overall increase to security?I don't know but I imagine that adding more patrols to the US coastline, there are many places where the coast is almost never partoled, and anything could be smuggled in, would make everyone more secure than this missile defense program.Makes sense to me, but I don%u2019t really have enough data to make this assumption (and neither do you I imagine)just something to think about
I am amazed no one has mentioned the ground based rotating laser turrets that US has just for this purpose. They seemed pretty much a: finished and b: effective.I am too lazy to find the video of the damn thing, but there is one out there prob on youtube or google vid - someone with more energy go seek and post ;)
