cnn.com— Two men pleaded not guilty Thursday to charges they set off a string of bomb scares by placing electronic light boards displaying a cartoon character with an upraised middle finger throughout Boston.

Your Mayors car might be a bomb. You should charge him whenever it is parked near an 'strategicly important' building. Also I have heard that unabombers recently have started dressing up as lawyers, so beware of 'suspicious looking' men in suits.
They were mocking the media at the press conference because anyone with a third grade education would know that these things were harmless. The Boston police made fools of themselves and now they think that vilifying these two guys will shift the focus from their own stupidity. This is the equivalent of putting your band sticker on a light pole - they aren't even the first ones to stick LEDs to things. Of course IF Boston PD succeeds in convincing the world that these things look exactly like bombs someone might point out that it tooks them WEEKS to notice the things, even when they were promenantly displayed and blinking brightly. Comforting thought, eh?
