It is going to take a while to read through that, but after an initial skimming, it seems to be an excellent resource and very well researched. Great find Greenfyre!

Thanks, greenfyre - this will be great to have. It is the $10's of millions that the oil and gas corporations pour into their climate denier campaigns that has me a true skeptic of deniers. The review of the tobacco-like strategies that the oil and gas corporations model their denier campaigns on is interesting, i.e.:* The evidence is still inconclusive. * Something other than smoking may be responsible. * Statistical evidence can‘t be trusted. * It‘s all a scare campaign. * The issue is too complicated, even for scientists. * Nit-picking at irrelevant details. * More research is necessary.Replace smoking with climate change, and you pretty well have a summary of all the denier comments on digg...

Unfortunately, I doubt that this will do much to convince people. These mindless conspiracy theories don't rely on rational thought or science.

very powerful total gov types have invested so much money in propping up global warming hype and tearing down/black mailing anti-global warming scientists. if you look at these big groups that support cap and trade and global warming etc they are all marxist. not surprisingly, these groups also bought out all the technology that would be used for global warming taxing and other stuff like cap and trade. its just a huge scam by a small group of wealthy bankers and power-brokers against the people.
