I'm a university student and a large portion of my friends (local news, designers, photographers) use twitter regularly. My mom is on Twitter, I mean... it's not that difficult or unpopular among "regular folk".Or maybe my corner of the world is just strange.

Twitter is "simple", Facebook is far too involved. They are very different.
