If you're a Ghost user and a VMWare Workstation user, the new 5.5 version of VMWare Workstation allows you to convert Ghost images to virtual machines. Quicker and easier, and works like a charm.

Just a side note: http://johnbokma.com/vmware-player/create-virtual-machines.html has links to two articles on how to create a virtual machine *without* downloading the trial of VMWare Workstation. It uses freeware to create the VMWare virtual machine. One article shows how to install Ubuntu, the other how to install XP Pro.Have fun.

billpoly, I know this post is old, but how do you do such a thing? I have an old ghost image I want to convert to a VM. Thanks
