tomsnetworking.com— Why ditch old hardware? This is part 3 (1 and 2 are also on the page) of how to turn your old no longer needed Xbox into a NAS device... Figuring you somehow got your hands on an Xbox360 already.

"NAS is a rapper. One of those people who talk over loop-based sounds. THey have no talent, really."You must have never really listened to NAS then, as he is actually one of few talented mainstream rappers.
@ adml_shakeRead my post again idiot! It says nothing about a PS2 and just says that I think the Xbox makes a much better media center than wasting it for a NAS! Retards like you that can't even read a 1 paragraph post need their keyboards taken away!
I {heart} XBMC like someone said above me, yeah get a cheaper P3.oh and @adml_shake I just bought a broken one for a buck -the DVD drive isn't working so I just hot swapped it and shoot I used some (I forgot which one , sorry) Linux distrib to get into the drive and install xbmcworks great now I just need a replacement dvd-rom cause the old one is fubared it looks like some kids stuck a screwdriver or something in it cause the lens is out of place and some plastic is broken.

NASLite can be obtained from http://www.serverelements.com/naslite.php . It runs on a single 1.77MB floppy (or a USB key). I'm only using 32MB of RAM too...so this system was CHEAP to build!

pretty much only with one particular version psu... foxconn? I think. Easily fixed with resoldering and a goop of epoxy for good measure.
