The images on the flickr page are surprisingly unimpressive to me. A couple years back I met a guy named Doug Boult who used a scanner to shoot as well - but his shots are much, much better IMHO. Ah I see the cache shaneau put up. very creative stuff - I see what you mean. Completely different intent than the old 'stuff on a scanner'. Glad I looked back at this. Thanks.
Wow this is really cool. I have an old scanner at home and i would love to try to make a camera out of it but the instructions are still a bit sketchy.. Is there a more comprehensive/detailed guide to creating a camera out of your scanner?

These are great pictures that is more like art than just being pictures. For some reason I keep thinking of the movie The Mask.
